Foy flying plays a role in three of this season’s new crop of shows on Broadway: Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Anything Goes and the upcoming musical stage version of Ghost.
In all, more than fifty Broadway shows have featured Flying by Foy. Among them: American Idiot, Angels in America, Billy Elliot, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Nine, Spamalot, Tarzan and The Who’s Tommy
Peter Foy and the company that bears his name have given flight to thousands of Peter Pans, including four Broadway incarnations: Jean Arthur (1950-1951), Mary Martin (1954-1955), Sandy Duncan (1979-1981) and Cathy Rigby (1990-1992).
